Back to School!

I love this time of year!

 

Back to School means...

 

turning leaves, crisp air, cooler weather, FALL in general, holidays, better schedules and routines, and daily lunch packing are near!

 

My favorite lunches to make are holiday related, BTS included.

Here's the first...

Bologna sandwich

Carrots w/Ranch (in MiniDipper)

Chips

Fruit snacks



Field Trip Lunch

Today I accompanied Audrey on her field trip to Meramec Caverns.

We had a blast!

 

They asked for everyone to bring a sack lunch but since I went along,

I packed like I usually do and carried it.

 

 

 

As usual I used our Easylunchboxes.

 

In it is:

Peppered turkey sandwich

Salad with Caesar dressing (in the Minidipper)

Pretzels

Cookie

Peaches cup

Water to drink

 

 

And I might add that I'm proud she went for her salad first.

She loves it. I swear she can eat it all day/every day!

Penguins and Lions

...Well, somewhat Lion. I tried. LoL

 

Recently we took a trip to the zoo. I wanted to try to create a couple animals from there.

These were the first two that came to mind.

 

 

Mini "Lion" open-faced sandwiches, cheez-its, carrots w/ ranch and a yogurt tube.

Penguin turkey pieces, ritz crackers, penguin cheese crackers, carrots w/ranch, yogurt tube.
