So, Ive been slacking a little on my blog. Sorry! Ive been busier than usual. I started a part time job recently and my husband has been taking a few extra loads.
Anyways, Ive been thinking about how to improve my life and make it a little easier (if thats possible with 4 young kids). Audrey is starting starting summer school in a couple weeks to prepare her for kindergarten this fall. That will require her going to bed at a certain time every night as well as getting up at a certain time in the morning. That last one, well who am i kidding.. both will be a challenge. Ive decided it would also benefit the other 3 if they were on a schedule. So a schedule is what im going to create. Now ive tried this before, many times.. but im determined to follow this time. Im going to create a cleaning schedule too (I have also tried this, and again am determined to follow.)
(My soon-to-be kindergartner, Audrey)
My baby girl is starting to stand on her own now, which means weaning and walking are near. This is bittersweet for me. I have an obsession with babies but refuse to have any more. My husband and I are ready for somewhat older kids. Possible easier kids, LOL. Six Flags and Disneyland/World are in our to do lists... Someday.
Now I feel bad for there being no pics of the other two so here it is..
I believe thats all thats really on my mind lately. So until next time :)
Kids and schedules... do those 2 words go together? lol :p My oldest daughter goes to half-day Kindergarten in the afternoon and I'm dreading next year when she goes full day and has to get up in the mornings (um, and me... I am so not a morning person).
ReplyDeleteAnd I completely relate to the sadness of having no more babies in the house but at the same time wanting to move on with life. We really want to be able to go to Disney World in another year or two when our youngest is fully potty trained and can walk longer distances.
Congrats on the new job and good luck with your schedules. ;)
